Version 0.1 (August 13, 2000). Primary distribution site: ftp://ftp.vsu.ru/pub/tex/font-packs/lucidaso/ These are Lucida type1 fonts with supplementary files needed for using them with LaTeX and PDFLaTeX. Type1 fonts are freely available as part of StarOffice 5.2 distribution from http://www.sun.com. There are 3 families: LucidaSans, LucidaType, LucidaBright (total 32 type1 fonts). We made support for the following TeX font encodings: T1, TS1, OT1, T2A. Only LucidaSans and LucidaType families contain Cyrillic fonts. There are in total 70 font shapes. Virtual fonts were made using fontinst v1.914. To install in teTeX: 1) unpack the tarball lucidaso-type1-.tar.gz into your texmf tree 2) unpack the tarball lucidaso-tex-.tar.gz into your texmf tree; warning: unpacking fonts can overwrite TFM and VF files for Lucida fonts which are part of teTeX distribution 3) add a record for lucidaso.map into the `updmap' script 4) run the `updmap' script to re-build map files 5) look into texmf/doc/latex/lucidaso/ directory for documentation and/or examples Mail your comments, questions, bug reports to: Vladimir Volovich
