I have extracted the PNGs by hand and temporarily posted them as TIFF files at the ftp address: ftp://topo.math.u-psud.fr/pub/lcs/bernstein If someone knows how to put a PDF wrapper around those more efficient TIFF G4 files please pipe up! In case you have to extract PNG's from MSWord ".doc" files in future, here is a fact that should help. The PNG segments begin with the 4-char sequence (in Knuthian 7-bit notation):- ^^89PNG and terminate with IEND^^aeB`^^82 Cheers, Laurent S.
