i have sent you METAFONT version of LH fonts with all header files
generated, with TDS directory layout. The cm-super fonts are Type 1
version of LH (and EC/TC) fonts.
you may still need the METAFONT sources to generate TFM files (font
metrics). once you have them generated, you will not need the METAFONT
sources any more (if you will use cm-super fonts).

Or you can use Emacs for Macintosh.
it understands UTF-8, has the ability to input many different
languages on one keyboard, and has a convenient support for (La)TeX.
