i find myself in the position of having to critique some cyrillic
fonts, and need help finding models for reference.
i can cope well enough with upright cyrillic, any languages, and
with the russian "italic" letters. however, i'm out of my depth
when it comes to the italic forms of non-russian letters, in
particular the following (citing them by unicode id's):
0402/0452 -- dje
0453 -- gje (g with acute accent)
0454 -- ukrainian ie
0409/0459 -- lje
040A/045A -- nje
040B/045B -- tshe
040F/045F -- dzhe
0462/0463 -- yat
046A/046B -- big yus
0472/0473 -- fita
0474/0475 -- izhitsa
0490/0491 -- ghe with upturn (ukrainian hard g)
any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
